Remember

Remember  The whistle sounded for us to go As we climbed over the hill I heard a sound of gunfire And all the world stood still I turned and saw my comrade fall Causing panic in the mud I ran towards the nearest trench And fell down with a thud Looking round at all the men Their eyes so full of fear Hands a shaking  bodies cold But none would shed a tear  Remember, one voice shouted loud  We all looked round to see One day he said this war will end  And people will be free

My Life

My Life The videos not working The TVs on the blink I've  got a cooker with a problem  And a blockage in my sink My house is like a bombsite  The carpets need a clean I've dusted round the bedroom  But you can't see where I've been  The hoovers laid down broken  My brush has lost it's head My cupboards are all empty  And my tummies not  been  fed Everytime l look around Seeing things that cause me strife  I often wonder what went wrong I used to have a life

The Artist

The Artist  Coloured paints and brushes Are what an artist needs Nature shows her finest  Imagination sows  it's seeds The sea, the air, the sunshine The ripples of the tide  Bring visions during painting Appearing by your side  In life you see the beauty  Then with passion and with light You start to bring together  A most amazing sight  The work you start with brush stroke line Becomes a form of your design  You've finished now it looks divine Stand back and gaze it's time to sign

Sand

Sand All around and in my hand Is golden dust and silver sand It moves in sequence swirls and flows Through my finger's through my toes When sand begins it start to guide  Through happy times and when we slide Like life itself the sand can see All l am and what I'll  be I see  my hand my palm is bare The sand has gone without a care My timer now of glass so dull I long for days when it was full

Rubbish

Rubbish  I like to see the Rubbish  And all the plastic bags With wrappers for the Sweetie  And boxes for the fag's  Have you seen the bottle tree It's growing near your door Beside a bloodstained pavement  Where  a  dog  has cut his paw It's hard to keep the birds and beasts  From overflowing bins And watching struggling sea life With plastic on their fins

Our Cottage

Our Cottage  Come on and rent our old cottage  Illuminations and water are free It's set in a beautiful landscape  The work all completed by me The beaches are oh but fantastic  The sea it comes right up t door If harbour man tells you it's high tide Move all the chairs from the floor You'll love it when everything floating  The views from top windows are grand I hope you like fish for your supper As it's left on the carpet with sand The cottages has been in our family  Since old Jack was nowt but a lad And the door will stay up it you prop it  All night if the wind isn’t bad This year has been busier then ever I've worn out my old sweeping brush  Remember when using the toilet  Keep pressing the button to flush We're booked up from summer to winter Fit you in, if we can, if we must You'll  go now were else  When you've been here  A place full of intrigue and ...

Pool of Love

Pool of Love  I dive into a pool of love And inside find you there Your lips are sweet Your skin is soft  I know you really care Your heart and mine  Entwine as one  And love forever grows The joy and kindness  From our love Into the water flows You touch me with your  fingertips And all my sorrows gone  You seem to find a happy switch  And turn it fully on
