Coloured paints and brushes

Are what an artist needs

Nature shows her finest 

Imagination sows  it's seeds


The sea, the air, the sunshine

The ripples of the tide 

Bring visions during painting

Appearing by your side 


In life you see the beauty 

Then with passion and with light

You start to bring together 

A most amazing sight 


The work you start with brush stroke line

Becomes a form of your design 

You've finished now it looks divine


Stand back and gaze it's time to sign

                      Watch My watch has stopped at twelve o'clock  It's twelve o'clock you see It stopped the day the world stood still The day that you left me Sunshine blocked behind the dark The moon can glow no more I look back on a fruitless life And wonder what you saw The empty chairs that lay around With tables left unset Bring thoughts of grief And guilt to mind The day that we first met In the death of course  The mud lays thick Upon those gathered round And here l sleep the restless sleep Beneath this soggy ground
